Founder Stuart Cameron is a qualified Dispensing Optician and has worked in the optical profession for over 20 years. Stuart has worked for Dolland and Aitchison, Specsavers and Boots. He then formed a partnership, which built up a chain of fourteen practices called Specdeals. This chain was sold to Optical Express in 2001. The Specsdirect2u company is family run with both Stuart, his wife Gillian and brother Neil working in the business.
