About the Business
Rachel is from a farming background and decided to train as a chiropractor after receiving chiropractic care for back and neck pain complaints. After graduating from the McTimoney College, Rachel worked as a graduate practitioner at the College for a number of years and alongside this she started building a client base in the Wantage area. Rachel is also trained in remedial massge therapy and currently practises from a treatment room at her parent's farm near Wantage and also at the Wantage Natural Therapy Centre.
The treatment aims are to make the patient feel more comfy and to also correct the reason why the patient is in pain. In a lot of cases the pain is due to a build up of imbalances within the muscular and skeletal system, which could be caused for example by always kicking a ball with the same foot or walking incorrectly due to arthritis or following an operation.
