About the Business
After qualifying as an Ophthalmic Optician in 1984 Paul Spencer spent the next 6 years working for both private Independent companies and also for some of the large groups. His experience in both of these disparate sectors convinced him that there was a need for a different approach to the business which combined the best qualities of both.
In 1984 Paul opened Ideal Eyes in Templars Square Cowley. His founding principle was to combine the quality and personal service of a small independent group with the choice and prices that compete with the larger chains.
