About the Business
Here at Bowden Opticians we have been Testing Eyes and providing glasses now for over 95 years. As a third generation Optician Mark Bowden currently owns and runs his practice on Chorley Old Road, he qualified with a degree in Ophthalmic Optics at Manchester University/ UMIST in 1982. This month of May is very important to Mark, as his Father Jack was actually born on the 21st May 1921, the same month his grandfather set up the shop below at 26 Higher Market Street in Farnworth.
