Bramwells is a 100% independent family optician providing top quality eyecare and eyewear at affordable prices. Operating from two practices in the heart of Cheshire, Bramwells Opticians have been serving the communities of both Winsford and Holmes Chapel for over 20 years. In fact there have been Bramwells in optics for well over 250 years since Thomas Bramwell opened up a shop in Alston in Cumbria as a Jeweller, Silversmith, Watchmaker and Optician in the mid 1850s.
Descendents carried on in Alston and then moved to Darlington and Durham (where Tim started in 1974). There are still Bramwells Jewellers in Darlington and Durham but for eyecare you need to visit Cheshire!
